In the Studio with The Hacker & Miro Pajic
One of the main reasons Things to Come Records relocated it's recording studio to Berlin was to make it easier to work with other electronic artists. In 2007 Oliver Chesler started work on two projects with famous electro producer Michel Amato (The Hacker) and legendary PCP producer turned minimal machine Miro Pajic. The projects sound quiet different. The Hacker project uses many elements from the past like the studio's Electro-comp 101 synthesizer and 80s style tom patterns make fills and such. The Miro Pajic project is full on future. Recorded entirely "ITB" with Ableton live. Shuffeled effects match upbeat lyrical content... "The Circuit Transforms".
The sound engineer runs one of the most respected techno labels in the world, Things to Come, and is - in his own words '"a huge fan of TC's products".
Particularly, the PowerCore platform has had an important impact on the sonic achievements of Oliver Chesler - both in his role as The Horrorist and as a sound engineer..."
