Screenshots from the studio.

Thursday, August 30th, 2007

The current project today at the Things to Come studio is finishing a remix for Devilock Records. For those interested here are two screenshots of whats happening. We are in arrangement view now in Ableton Live. The plug-ins you see here are the Wayoutware Timewarp 2600 and the Izotope Ozone. The Timewarp is a great virtual re-creation of the vintage analog synth from ARP called the 2600. The Ozone is providing a wide stereo field for the synth. The Horrorist to be in upcoming movie “Revision”.

Monday, August 20th, 2007

Director Edwin Brienen has asked The Horrorist to perform Sex Machine in the final scene of his new independent film “Revision”. The film is a follow up to Edwin’s earlier movie Hysteria. The plot is about a woman who once believed in god and then abandoned him and now feels inner emptiness. She wants to know how to deal with these emotions. In a twist her husband convinces her to the ultimate deed of evil by killing a person.

When asked what type of movie this is Edwin says…

Arthouse, musical, sleeze horror!

We posted some photos from the August 14, 2007 shoot in Berlin. We will keep you up to take about the movie and hopefully get a few video clips to show you. Look for the premier later this year.
